While a lot of people liked how they recreated Mr. Losing the extra routes just makes the game feels smaller than even the original game.Ĭlaire losing her bow gun makes her lose a lot of her identify from the original. There's no canon story, despite only having essentially 1 story for either Leon or Claire to go through in RE2make, even the Claire A/Leon B and Leon A/Claire B don't make sense with themselves, because of how both face down against Birkin 2. Anyway, it's a great time to be a Capcom fan
Capcom has been doing amazing games for the last few years but they're just "playing safe" and making games of established IPs only, so I really want to see them doing something completely new. Just like RE2 it's a flawed remake at the same time that it is a legitimately amazing and well polished game, and them considering the game a hit as it is today doesn't make me believe the constant reports that they're going to essentially remake the game again lol.Īlso I'm very curious for Pragmata, it's been almost ten years since Dragon's Dogma, which probably is the latest new IP that they made. RE3 being considered a hit isn't surprising, the game must've sold really well and must've been very profitable considering that it probably had a lower budget than RE2, and less development time. I'll be very surprised and happy if it ends up being something like Not a Hero again. If it's something like Not a Hero (big and free) or the banned footages from RE7 (minor and paid), for example. Since it's supposedly going to be free, I wonder what is the scale of this Village DLC. And they're going to revive dormant IPs and make more remakes
Like how important digital sales became to their business. There's a lot of uninteresting business stuff on this report (of course lol) but there's a lot of good and interesting informations.
